hey guys and gals, i have a 69 396 that i want to put TQ2 wheels on. I've got the size of wheel combo down 17x9.5 w/5.5 bs on rear and 17x8 with 4.5 bs on front. i want as much meat on the wheels as possible, at least width wise. i know a 245mm will fit, but how about a 275mm on the rear & possibly a 235 up front?? The question is What is the widest tire i can go to and not scrub the wells. I have a bone stock front and rear suspension also. i have replaced front coils and think of air bagging the rear. any help on the rubber would be much appreciated.
