i know its probably been answered before, but i couldnt find anything on it so sorry if im bringing up old thread or questions, but here it is....

i have a 68 camaro sbc 383 with muncie 4sp, but want a 5sp transmission. i have a t5 transmission out of a 87 camaro. i need to know what i need to make this fit. thanks agian.

 

Make room in the trunk for a bushel basket, so you can pick up the scattered pieces of the trans once you jump on the throttle. The T5 wasn't put behind anything bigger than an anemic 305 by GM for a reason. Unless you're gonna "baby" the thing...yeah right!!! For a 5 speed, a TKO 500 or 600 would be the better way to go.
