Default differential decoding

I'm sure this question has been asked previously, but thru my searches I've not found an answer applying to my own matter. My hot rod has what I believe to be a 2nd generation Camaro differential and front suspension. I cannot locate any information on the internet telling me the year or the generation of the differential. I do not have any other numbers, tags, etc. other than those I am listing here. The numbers/letters are: I148, 1254333 and GM24. I know that it is a 10 bolt differential, 8.5" but that is all. Can you tell me what year or years this differential is?? Thank you for your help.
