ride tech front shocks

Hi guys , im running a big block in my 69 with the Ridetech coil over shocks and big block spring. the problem that im having is the springs wont support the weight of the car. I have aluminum heads and intake with a battery delete. Anyone else come across this issue? thanks.

Lowering springs or stock height? Wrong size shocks or springs maybe? Something isn't right,I put a big block in my old '69 many years back and all I changed was the motor mounts and headers. Had iron heads too and I had no problems with it not holding the weight.

Not sure if its called a lowering spring or not. but I agree something isn't right

Are you referring to the spring on the shock or the car's suspension coil springs?
If you have stock springs up front they may just be shot and need replacing,I ran stock springs in mine switching to a big block but if I were to replace them I'd order big block springs. Mine weren't all that old having done the swap when the car was only 8 years old.

Well I think I'd take it to a good front end shop then and find out why it's not holding up.

Have you tried calling Ridetech yet? The weight of a big block with aluminum heads and intake is dang near the same as an all iron small block. When you say the springs won't support it, are the bottom adjusters cranked as high as they will go? Is the car bottoming out, or just not at the height you want it to be at?

Yes there sending me a spanner wrench. I was only hand tight. Thanks
