Default Lower front end

What would be the best thing to do when lowering my front end 2 inches, drop spindles or springs?

Hey guys,
I know I'm late to the party, but was wondering (now that I'm not going to use dropped spindles) I am going to upgrade to tubular upper & lower control arms. I've seen "some" lowers with a 2" dropped pocket for the spring. Are they worth it? Or just get a good set and get the lowered (stiffer) springs?

I'm getting closer to doing phase 1 of the car with the front end work. Including disc brakes. I've got some nice replacement heads, intake & carb, distrib & header exhaust to put on and enjoy for the next year before phase 2 (drop in my big block).

I was just wondering on the control arm issue since I just learned yesterday that the spindles are not the way to go on the Camaros.

Thanks

Just how low is too low on the front end of a '67 ? is 2", 3", 4" too low?
I'd love to go 235/45/17s up front & 275s in the rear ... so just trying to see what's up. I'd like the top of the tires even with the fender lip of fenders. ?????

I found when I put 2'' drop spindles and drop springs with tubular control arms...Im TOO low on P235/60R15" TA's tires.

You might get away with low profile tires

Timeandmoney,
Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking (in my head) that I can get away with the 2" dropped spindles and a 1" stiffer lowered spring since I'm going to a 17" wheel. Maybe an 18" but I can get a great deal right now on some 17" tires 225/40s & 275/40s --- I'd LOVE to run a 245/45 & 275/45 but I don't want ANY chance to rub. Oh well, I guess I'll find out soon.
