I am installing a Flaming River Rack and Pinion Steering in my 1969 Camaro. The car has a big block in it and I am having a difficult time with the oil pan interference with a Flaming River Rack and Pinion. I don't know what pan is installed. It is a single sump oil pan and measures a little over 8 inches from the back wall of the sump to the forward wall of the sump. Does anyone have a measurement on a stock 396 oil pan that would have come in a 1969 SS Camaro?
