Default 67 vs 68 front subframe differences

I’m starting my homework on the first gens and was wondering if there was a difference in the front subframe for the 67 and 68. Are these interchangeable? I would order one from Real Deal Steel.

I have swapped them before when repairing cars and never had an issue, but do to your post I looked it up. The 67 has one hole drilled in it that a 68 does not. If I read it right the 67 has the bump stop for the suspension mounted in this hole. In 68 the bump stop is mount on the control arm and there is not hole drilled in the frame. Other then that they are the same. I you shooting for a show car get the correct frame. If not You may have drill a hole. Or like most of us ignore the bump stop and do not reinstall it.

Thanks! As long as they are formed identical and have the same dimensions then that gives me some leeway on parts. I’m not looking to build a pro-touring car, but an old school street machine out of the 70’s/80’s. That allows me to just find a stock subframe. Any particular vendor to look for or avoid?
