Does anyone have any experience with frame rail replacement? I have a '67 350SS that needs both frame rails replaced. My delima is between full length and a partial replacement. I have all the measurements from the assy manual and feel certain that I could realign everything once I'm knee deep into the process. However, are there any advantages/ disadvantages to just replacing the damaged parts vs. whole thing.
Also, If replacing the whole frame rail; has anyone tried the new rails from Competition Engineering? They seem to be stronger, direct replacement, but appear to lack the tabs that one would use to weld to. ALSO, if the CE frame rails are a suitable swap, are they compatible with the DSE four link kit? DSE didn't know and only use the factory replacement parts...
thanks
Jay

Unless you are sure you can do the job right its probably a good idea to replace the whole thing. Cutting and welding these things can be tricky.
