1969 Ladder Bar Suspension Identification
Help !!!! A couple of years ago, I bought a REALLY clean and solid '69 Camaro which had spent most of its life on the strip. It has rear frame connectors welded in, DSE mini tubs, 9", etc... 383 stroker with 573 hp at 7,000. Runs like stink !!!! Anyway, I've pulled the cage, done all the needed body work and just had a full custom leather interior installed. Here's my question that I really need help with. The rear has a ladder bar setup with coilovers. I was told that it was a DSE set up, but I don't believe they ever offered anything other than a 4 link... so I need to identify the mfg so I can tweak it if needed and get some different rate springs and shocks.
If you can post any pictures, that would be a great help on identifying your setup, but I think you need to make a few more posts before you can do so.
If you go to the DSE site, check out their project section and look at Eric Krueger's 69 Camaro, they did a ladder bar setup for him.

bruce69camaro.....looks like you're right. The forum system won't let me attach photo's... I looked at DSE's site and can't find a reference to ladder bar set up for Camaro's
I think to post pictures you have to have three or more postings, but don't quote me on that.
I'm sure DSE made/ makes ladder bars but because a four link setup is so popular these days, they may have just stopped offering them.
I looked on their site and couldn't find anything either.
Have you tried contacting them, that might be your best bet because a lot of ladder bars use the same common design. Maybe take some pictures of them and send them to DSE.
