1967 camaro suspension upgrades
Hi All,
I have a 1967 camaro with a completely rebuilt front end (stock). I want to do some upgrades to make the car handle better and control the wondering when driving at higher speeds. I have been told to go to tubular A-Arms and a larger front and rear sway bar. Also to go with 2" drop spindles. I have P235 60R/15's on front and back. I was running 32 pounds of air but went up to to 35 and it did improve the handling noticeably. Does anyone have any suggestions that won't break the bank? Thanks

If your front rims are two inches or more narrower than your tire, the sidewalls can flex and cause the symptoms you described.
Did you replace EVERYTHING under the front end?
I replaced the upper ball joints, lower ball joints, the pitman, idler arm, all the tie rods, the sway bar bushings, the bushings in all the control arms and put KYB shocks on all four corners last summer.
My Camaro went from being scary to drive to being a pleasure.
