My rebuild
#126
When I was welding the new frame rails to the new trunk pan last winter there was a 1/2 inch gap at the shock tower on the passenger’s side. When I clamped
it tight the frame rail dropped down 1 1/4 of an inch at the bumper end. I knew I’d have to deal with it eventually. Today was the day. I leveled the car today and cut
the frame rail on the passengers side.
I strapped the car down on the 2X4 nice and level to rotisserie.
I lifted the frame rail on the passengers side only then tacked the fame, now both sides are exactly equal.I also sprayed inside both rockers with Eastwoods
internal frame coating. Good stuff
