It looks like your project is coming along well.... I will be going down that road soon, it's all about finding the money and a bodyman that you can trust. That and I've done everything to my baby, and it's a fact I'm proud of... I was hoping to finish on my own.... Tell me what you think...

I need a wiper motor, seats (hence the seat covers on 3rd gen seats), rear quarter (I could repair them but why...) the RS electrical motor system....

I know sometimes its frustrating but it's all worth it..

Absolutely amazing work you are doing.. I appreciate all the pictures. I will be working 'on your heels' with my project and your posts will be a great help. Fortunately, from what I see so far, my car does not have as severe rust as yours. Have fun with it and keep up the posts with the great pictures.. GMan

ok finally after 2 weeks of holidays some work has been going on with the camaro. I am very happy to report that the big shipment of body parts is slowly rolling in and we are making some good progress. So the left door has been fitted on and bolted in place to checkthe alignment with the rear quarter and all looks well. It is also time to pick the paint color because the door is coming back off to clean up the window mechanics and he needs to paint the hinges and jam before the door is done. We are going with a Magnetic Red from the 04 corvette. I want to put a bit of a metallic flake in it as well.

As you can see the weld line is being filled in the lead and he repaired the spot that was rusted out that is in between my hands. Also he is starting to cut away the lead where the roof panel is connected.

Very nice. Dont forget to get detailed pics of the roof process. I can find alot of info on the net about most replacements but very little on the roof.
I am envious of everyone and thier progress while mine just sits.
