lol you never know.......most of its for rust protection and I figure while Im at it why not clean up as much as I can.

Well after starting to put the exhaust together.....no wait we couldnt do that.....hey 1st lets put the new brake line on.........no wait cant do that we need to finish the rear suspension. lol

So that meant digging out the old leaf springs, taking the shackles off, and cleaning them up.





And if Ive learned anything from this project its the "dont throw anything away" rule. Cause just because you buy a new brakeline....


doesnt mean that it comes with any brackets. You have to take them off the old brakelines



But in the end, and with the new conversion kit, we got the new leaf springs on the rear axle. I just need more bushings, bolts, & c-nuts to put it back on.

Well look at my sig and thats the best you will get for now. Right now its up on jack stands as in the above pics where I had the sides all taped off. We are currently working on the bottom of the car.

 

that car is coming along so nicely! i'm pretty excited about it. and to think, its a GIRL doing all this work, haha. keep us posted O!

Cherry eh...I never told you my color name story. See when I look at it I think "Candy" Only problem is that one of my friends name is Candi and I dont really like her. She's a bit of a snob and we never really hit it off as good friends so I think of her when I think of that name......I need something else.

 

<< already knew the color name story. I think its a Cherry 69 and I like the color... it reminds me of a Cherry, I'll have to tell you about the girl I used to "date" named "Cherri" some time, ANYWAY.... My new name for you might have been Cherry had it not been for those two stories!
