Thanks Craby. I plan on having several drinks once the car gets home.

It's was tough sometimes. Very stressful. My project was too big for me. I'm just happy it's almost over and it will be back at home and ready to roll next spring.

Thanks Bruce.

The car made it home just before the snow fell. Just for my own sanity, the car came home on a flatbed. The streets were all brined and I thought it was best if I didn't drive her.

I'm pretty happy with how things look now but a few minor points need to be looked at in the spring.

The motor might need a little tweak with the timing. Also, parking brake and speedo still need to be installed. That metal plate in the shifter needs to be swapped out as well. Looks like the one I ordered turned out to be for a two speed transmission. I'll need the one for a three speed. Everything else I'll figure out when it's on the road.

I'm looking forward to that day.

K

Yes, last year but it had dealer plates on her. Looks I like I win the race with the Leafs.

Yes...yes you did, you won....Congrats on driving it. How did it do?

Funny story. My wife, one of the doctor's she works, the hockey team he plays on was having a fund raiser game. They were playing the Flyers Alumin Team. The doctor was giving out free tickets to his staff, I said get some!
I go to the game wearing......you got it, my Toronto Maple Leaf jersey.
Some of the old time Flyers were just laughing at me, since I was the ONLY person wearing something other than a Flyers jersey. I actually talked to one of the guys, Riley Cote, but he actually played for the Leafs at one time.
Then at the luncheon, after we left, someone stood up and said, hey where did the guy with the Leaf jersey go.....

Odin,
Best wishes and good luck in your project. Ripping a running driving car apart and wanting so bad to fix any issues, make the car look nicer, and most importantly, making the car what YOU want, is a long and painful process.
I did it 3 times with my Hugger Orange 69 Coupe(car in Avatar), while putting myself through college. I can remember that long journey. A lot of learning the hard way in the process too! I have bee away from the car hobby 20 years now, but I still have my original car. So glad I held onto it. Now thinking about freshening the car up? Good luck with your project.
