Just welded drivers side rockers in 68 Camaro for a couple model, but the rockers are for a convertible what's the difference or will they work?

 

From what I just read coupe and convertible rockers are different but it sounds like the difference might be in the bracing inside the rocker, where as the convertible rocker has more bracing.
Some say you can use them and some say not......

 

The outer cosmetic rocker is the same. The inner rocker of a convertible is much more structural and should be install on a body jig.
