Default MUST SELL 1969 RS/SC Camaro

1969 chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe Project For Sale

This would be a great project unfortunately I could not complete the build out and I need to sell it as soon as possible. The SC is the Sport Coupe Package and was dealer ordered with the higher performance 350 engine and the Muncie transmission. Comes with 1970 RS 350 motor which was running well and has not been bored. The RS package was dealer installed. This was common at the end of the1969 model as the RS Package was in short supply. This information was given to me by a Service Manager at a Chevrolet dealership who had worked for them for 51 plus yrs. The original color was Hunter green with sage green interior. The vehicle has all new metal a new roof, quarters, doors, trunk, fenders inner and outer, firewall, dash panel, trunk and doors. Comes with all door hardware misc trim and complete interior from a 2016 RS/SS Camaro. Front motor carriage and suspension have been professionally restored as well as rear axle and suspension. Car has been under coated completely inside on floor pans as entire bottom side of car. Body is 95% ready for finish, sanding and paint. Car once had hide away headlight assembly but is now gone.
Car hasn’t been registered since 1981 and title has been lost.
l did run the vin through the Becker County Sheriff dept and Minnesota dept of Motor Vehicles 10 yrs ago when l purchased the car off of EBAY, which is how I know the car has been untitled for so long.
$15,000 takes car! Need to SELL as soon as possible -

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you got your self a nice project. Not sure if you already bought this or asking if you should. If your thinking about it then look through it carefully. It has been sitting for a while in the weather after all that nice work was done, so make sure you go over everything for rust. Tarps don't protect vehicles, especially when they are ripped with holes and random windows inside. The car was open to the elements, so make sure you look inside the body and cavities for standing water, debris and critters nesting. I would check out the firewall too Not sure why there is bondo, should be a clean welded seam when it was "replaced".

Looks like he's trying to sell it and I for one would run away fast,no title is a huge red flag along with all the other things you mentioned.
Unknown history,I don't know what an RS/SC is supposed to mean but I doubt its a Yenco Super Camaro with an RS package.
$15K without a clean title,I don't think so but good luck.

Yea I agree with a clear title you may have a shot at 15k because it is a 69 and of all the body work done. If you know what you are doing getting a title is not a huge deal assuming the car has a clean history. But if the car does not have a clean history then getting a title in many states is next to impossible. I only say this because doing the title search and showing an "all clear" will make the car much more salable.

I would hate to see a forum member buy a car like this and finish it only to find out it was stolen in the early 80's. A lot of times even when the car is recovered it still show up in the data base because it never got updated.
