1967 RS Camaro Project

So I took the subframe to the powder coaters and had it sand blasted, I brought it home before it was powder coated to try and do some better welds. I thought I could save it, but I was wrong. I think it would take to much time to sit and weld on it. Rear mounts rusted out and someone scabbed some metal on them to fix it. Front body mounts rusted out their fix was better than the rear. Here are some pics of what it looks like.

Here is a pic of a spot underneath the engine brace that had a small hole with some severe pitting and I repaired it by welding several beads over the thin metal and the hole and ground it down. Thought it looks pretty good, just not sure if I want to try to piece the frame back together.

Nice to see another banana boat owner lol. Here's a nice wheel survey http://www.pro-touring.com/tech/wheels/Wheel_Survey.htm It may help you get an idea of what will fit. Also, search pro-touring for the "evade camaro". This guy has the widest tires and rims I've been able to find on a 1st gen. without tubbing.

Update
It's been awhile but I finally decided to take it to the sandblaster and find out how much work really needed to be done. Ended up spending about $5,000 on the remainder of the body work back in december time frame. I got body work finished, the body acid primed and got the inside, trunk and underneath of the car coated with heavy duty industrial paint. Now I'm starting to put it back together and I noticed that my upper control arm shafts do not match. I have to different shafts. Ones more rectangular/square than the other which is circular around where the bolts go through the subframe. Trying to find out where I might be able to get a used shaft for a 67. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'll try to get some pics posted.
