Default tilt

I'm running one in my 69 camaro. Factory one, I installed it. I would stay with the factory ones, unless you are looking for chrome. NPD has them, much cheaper than aftermarket.

If you do go ahead with your plans to install one. PM me I will be glag to talk with you on what years fit. Also what years look like 69. What you may or may not have to do to install other GM tilts. I have install several columns and have seen many pitfalls with this install. Its not hard to do. There are several guys that sell rebuilt ones for about $375 + $30 shipping. If you get one out of another car make sure you take the coupler. The column will slide out leaving the coupler attached to the steering box. The coupler cost $50+.

Easy to swap it over to a tilt. Just remove your lock cylinder and put it in the tilt one. If you can get/find a used one out of a Camaro/Nova, do try to get the coupler and the plate that goes up to the bulkhead unless yours in good condition. I bought one years ago for $200 at a Super Chevy show, so $375 now is about right for one.

Just a word to the wise. Consider staying with an collapsible column for safety, whether factory or aftermarket.
