Dome Light Melted

Dome Light Melted
So I was working on my drivers side window. Pulled it all apart to fix a floppy window. Found that the inner sash channel is not in place or in the car at all.
Anyway back the melted light housing. I think I had the door open for a couple of hours and it was about 75 degrees in my shop. I went to get a water and came back and could smell hot plastic. I look at the dome light and it had dropped about 1/4 inch. I popped the lens out and the lamp out and it had melted the housing.
What gives? The light bulb is the standard one you can get from all the aftermarket suppliers. I don't recall this happening to any other car that I owned, including the same era. I'm sure I left the interior light on overnight at least once and it didn't happen. Cheap reproductions???

+1 LEDs are great last a lot longer than regular bulbs too.
