Did I break it ? or is it supposed to be that way
Hi,
1969 camaro with standard wheel.
Taking my steering wheel off to get to ignition switch so I can replace it.
When i took the turn signal cancel switch off , I uncovered a u shaped copper colored piece of metal that goes under the ignition switch.
I think its called the key alert buzzer ?
Did I break it ?
Is it supposed to attach to something ?
Or do the two prongs just stick out straight away from the face of the column.
does anyone know ?
Cant figure out how to upload the photo.

Ok,
So I got ahold of a chassis manual for the 69 camaro and it talks a little about key buzzer and how it is supposed to be positioned.
I still dont understand how it can work with no power unless its supposed to make contact with some power under the horn turnsignal assembly.
