Rule of thumb is 10 PSI per 1000 RPMs. Also you want to test your oil pressure with a good handheld gage. You can verify the hand held gage with regulated shop air. Dash gages tend to not be the best unless it’s a high quality one with oil running to it. I never trust the ones that use a sending unit. Either way I would verify the reading. Regardless of the above rule I would be worried about verified 5 psi at idle for a performance engine especially if it was a new or it loss oil pressure in a short time period.
