X11 stands for "style trim group". The option consisted of roof drip moldings, fender moldings, rear fender louvers, black body sill, rear panel emblem, and bright headlight & taillight trim.
Style trim group doesn't pertain to engine options, as it could have been ordered with a 6 cylinder model if a buyer wanted to. It's a cosmetic option.

X 11 included style trim group Z-21 and/or Z-22 could be RS/SS 350, could be RS 327, could be RS 6 cyl. Would not necessarily tell you what it had but will tell you what it would not have.(BB, Z/28)
