Is there any specific tool used to remove and install window moldings on a 1st gen. ? Any tips ? Thanks

 

If you are talking about the stainless trims on the windshield and rear winshield on coupes , there is a special tool that is shaped like a T with a hook on each end and it has a handle. The blades are thin and they slip under the mouldings so you can hook the side of the clips to pull them outward enough to release the trim. Start at the clips on the end and work your way down to the other end. The tool is inexpensive and can be purchased at any body supply store.
