^agreed and also the 68 suffers from middle child sydrome where is gets overshadowed by is sibilings. The 67 is the first year of the camaro and the 69 is considered the best year (but all those people are just plain silly
) so the 68 gets left out. its the same for the tri five chevys 55 and 57 are popular and easy to find but not as many 56's.

Well ok..I love the style of the 68 tail lites and parkin lites then I'd choose the 67..that being said I definetly would not turn down a 69 ..just wondering about the 68's if there just weren't alot built.
Thanks for the replies..

no there were alot of 68s built, around 235,151. there were actually more 68s built than 67 by about 15,000 cars. whats nice about 68's over 67's is that there is a lot of improvement from getting the new car bugs out of the 67

Since 68 is the bastid child of the 1st gens, they weren't liked as much. So instead of being restored, many got sent to the crusher. lol
Seriously though, there's no rhyme or reason why you're not seeing as many 68's for sale. The production numbers between the three years are so close to each other, that wouldn't be a noticeable factor. Could just be a trend with no meaning, and next time you look there could be more 68's and less 67's or 69's out there.
