Looking for opinions on value of the 69 coupe:

X11 tag
NOM sbc worked
body needs- rocker on one side, inner rear wheel houses, lower quarters both sides, passenger side floor, paint
Interior nearly shot- needs new seat covers and foam for fronts, dash pad bad
trunk has little if any rot, but a hole about 1 inch diameter needs repair.

Looks good from a distance, drives fine. $$$???

I walked away from this car as the first viewer of the sale. Just curious as to what I feel it is worth vs. the others from the board. We all have perception of dollar values for these cars.

 

Somewhere between $5,000 and $15,000 Just not enough info.

 

don't take offense, but there are too many people that come on here with posts like yours, and those are pretty much useless. from your description I wouldn't pay over $500.00

if people want real acessments, they need to post DETAILED pics of the car. I'm not talking an interior, exterior, and engine compartment shot. I'm talking about putting the car on a lift, taking at least a half dozen underside shots, every angle of the exterior, interior, underdash wiring, underhood, wiring, windshield corners, trunk corners, every possible nook and cranny that you can access. then, and only then can you get even a ballpark figure.

anyone that gives you a value on any less info than that, is just blowing numbers up your ****

 

I felt the car was an 8k car at best, or at least I would have taken it for that. Figuring that the body work would have taken around 8-10, then another 2 for interior. I don't see cars without extra options going for more than 20 very often.
