Default What size carburetor?

I have a 1967 camaro with a 350 in it. The motor was originally in a 1970 caprice and has some mods. Previous owner wasnt sure what was all done to the motor but said there is a mild cam. I need to know what size carb(cfm) would be good for 250-400hp because I eventually want it to be pushing around 400hp.

A 650 cfm will be just right for a 350.

650 cfm, vacuum secondary with an electric choke. Should not bog when you step into it and you can adjust when you want the secondaries to open with a spring set.

Thanks for the quick responses. Looks like everybody agrees on the 650 CFM. Now to decide which brand. Any suggestions or tips on what to stay away from? I've been hearing alot of good about holley and some good and bad on edelbrock. And would I benefit from using a double pump?

I've heard the Holley Street Avenger 670 is a good carb...
Stay away from double-pumpers for your application.

Personally I like the Rochester QuadraJet's.
