What to look for when buying a 1st gen guide
I used the search button, but it didn't help that much.
I found a '67 for sale and want to know what to look for when seeing the car. Basically, what kind of problems do this cars usually have? An example: Do I look for rust on the doors or under the car? This kind of things.
Also, what are the big differences between a 10 bolt and a 12 bolt rearend? Is one better then the other?
Thanks in advance.

most chevys rust in same spots. look around the bottom of both the front and rear windows most will rust there. also at the bottom rear of the front fenders and around the rear wheel. trunk and floors are common as well. a top can rust if it was a vinyl top car from the factory.
the 10 bolt was the standard rear end in most chevys. the 12 bolt was for the high performance cars. so for camaros the ss cars had the 12bolts in them.
