i cant touch any 12 bolt rear for less than a grand. even 10 bolts are getting to be 500-600 bucks the hottest and rarest are out of the 66-67 novas since they are the most narrow of them all. the least desirable is any impala rear.

Then you should snap up as many as you can and sell them for a bundle on ebay. $100-300 is a ridiculously low price for a Camaro/Nova 12 bolt.
And yes, go over that rearend with degreaser and a wire wheel, then give it a nice coat of paint, or at least primer.

I've been really busy this past week. I should be able to get a couple hours in grinding tomorrow, Maybe even a primer coat. I think when I'm done with it I am going to take it to the local speed shop and see if I can put up an ad in their shop.

Got it cleaned up a little bit. About 3hrs with a wire wheel on an angle grinder. I've got some pitting on the ends of the tubes but everything else is cleaning up nicely. I think the backing plates are trashed from pitting but I am going to clean them up and paint them anyways. They are still pretty solid.

Another thing. While cleaning the front yoke it is cast 9210. It seems this is a HD 1330 yoke and not standard.
