What is considered high mileage?

National average for putting miles on a car is 12k a year. That 67 is 45 years old x 12k miles = 540,000 miles considered average for a car that age. Cars like ours weren't considered fair weather cars only, until the late 80's/early 90's. So give it 20+ good years of full service, and you're at 240k+ miles plus Sunday drives from then to now. 112k is low any way you slice it. But what really counts is how well the car was cared for. You can usually tell with a quick glance how good the owner was to a car. Those low miles on an original engine, means the car sat a lot. Inactivity can make seals and gaskets shrink or get brittle, so keep an eye out for leaks.

Thanks for the reply. I agree with you. Any vehicles we allowed to sit in the Marine Corps ended up rotting away. Worst thing you could do is let them sit. The one I'm looking at looks to have always been cared for and in great condition, but as you say, inactivity could creep up on it. I'll have it looked over before making any decisions. Thanks again.
