What To Buy 1967 or 1969
Hi All
I have been in love with all makes and models in the Camaro Range... I know would like to buy one but dont know what type..
ok I like both the 1967 RS or RS SS and also like the 1969 RS or SS, I want both to be V8 factory cars and not clones.. or tributes
My budjet is under $30K
I would just like your ideas on 67 or 69 model
I have also noticed that the 69 are worth more $$$$$ but cant see the real reason behind it... help would be appreciated.

I prefer the 69, that's my totally unbiased choice.
The 69 is the preferred 1st gen car mostly because of the body style. It was liked better when it first came out, and still is today. Plus the fact that the 69 is a one year only body style doesn't hurt it's value either. Don't get me wrong, 67's and 68's are still very nice cars, and I'd be tempted to get one if the car was right. I think what should be more important to you is which one appeals to your eyes more, and keep any difference in value secondary.

Sit in both and have a friend take your picture! Mechanically speaking the factory 69 is a better model as the bugs got worked out from 67 & 68.
However the 67 scores the highest in Coolness Points...that's an undisputed fact!

I agree, and there's no biased on my end. In the end, its just a matter of preference. I ended up going with a 1967 because there's something about have the very first model of the first generation cars. Besides, I actually like the way the 67's and 68's look better. Of course, that's my own personal preference. Hell, I'd take any 1st generation model camaro, though.
