Not so much. I hear they trap alot of moisture too.

that may be true for an car that stays outside

if i'm not mistaken, vinyl tops were an upgrade/option and my 69' still has its original vinyl top with no rips. there is some blistering (bottom left corner of window only) and to fix it it iwill have to replace the top. with vinyl conditioner (armoral), it still looks nice.

i think they look really cool cuz i always liked a ragtop look but im not a vert fan....imo tho i think they are better on chevelles

i think the viny tops look great also. does anyone know of a quality vinyl reproduction company?

good question. reason for going with one is i have a nasty looking roof

thats one of the first q's asked about my car is if the vinyl top is original. i'd would spend more for quality becauseitdefinately draws compliments. reminds folks of the 60's and 70's muscle cars. vinyl was in!
