Update of my 68
As I promised in the first gen owners thread here is an update of my 68.
Work has been slow since i've constantly been in school, and money is always tight. I'm not sure i ever told you about the garage i'm working in so let me explane. Its a fairly large i'd say 20x40 with a smaller 10x20 storage area. I have running water but no A/C or electricity to speak of. As a result I have to use my generators to get everything done. one is a 1500W the other is a 3000W, so If i need to weld anything I have to move my car about 3 miles to my house.
ok on to the pics (sorry for the Quality but the GF has my Camera)
As you can see it isn't the same car that is in my signature, i've pretty much taken everything apart that can be to keep it rolling.
Who ever built this car did a crappy job, they cut out the trans tunnel and replaced it with a large piece of sheetmetal, they used sheetmetal screws and silicone to hold it in.
The trunk is also a place thats causing me nightmares, the tubs where done right but the rest of the trunk was that same as the trans tunnel a million sheetmetal screws and silicone.
Typical rust repair I didn't know it was THIS bad when i bought the car.
Th-350 has been cleaned up alot, literally a case of break cleaner, a couple steel brushes, and some engine degreaser.
