Default UK 69s

Hey everybody. First post

I'm a very big first gen Camaro enthusiast currently living in the UK and I've recently been looking at the ways of getting one. From what it seems, they are expensive where ever you buy them but even more from the UK. I've got no experience in been a mechanic but have a few relatives and friends who have and thought it would be a fun project to work on with a brilliant result, the car!

Has anybody else in the UK had any experience in getting a first gen Camaro and have any advice?

Well no, it's not. We do have members from the UK, Australia, Germany, Syria, and probably others I'm forgetting.
But the large majority of members here are in the USA.

Glad to hear that there are other's that still appreciate the first gen Camaros. However I suppose the question can be universal. I take it the majority of users already have a Camaro, I'm just wondering what's the best method to get a nice car. I really like the sound of the hands on building my own Camaro, however I'm not too sure of my abilities or funds to be able to do this.

What is everybody else's thoughts base on their experiences? Would you recommend anything?

Look in the for sale here or E-bay. That will give you an idea of the current prices. You can always arrange shipping to the UK. Try to find as complete a car as you can, that will save you a lot of headaches hunting parts. Almost everything is available in reproduction, even a complete body, for a price of course.
