uh oh! I-95 crash
Just in the interest of full disclosure, I posted that picture and story because, as a vintage BMW enthusiast and owner, I knew someone would be concerned about that accident, and might know the owner or at least serve as a reminder to keep the insurance coverage up to date for others with similar cars. I drive through that area every day (sometimes with my old BMW's) and my heart goes out to whoever's Camaro that was that got rear-ended. Cars are meant to be driven, but it's always sad to see things like this happen.
The owner of that car isknown by a memberon another forum I visit often along with a bunch of his and our fellow car enthusiusts. last i read the owner had some severe back injury and a buddy of his was paralyzed from the waist down. The accident was caused by an erratic cement truck driver that then fled the sceen .In all there were 5 vehicles involved in that crash. From what i remember reading the owner was actualy driving in another vehicle he owned his friend was driving the camaro. yet both involved in the crash. talk about a bad day
On my Maro, I had someone, never found out who..., backed into my front end. Damage to the bumper, header piece and grille were miminal, but the insurance company wanted to total loss the car. This was about 15 years ago, now I have antique auto insurance...
