No u dont have to drop the tank anymore. All you have to do is pull the filler neck out. Just unbolt the gas door, pull the plastic piece the lets the gas drain out if u put in too much, and there is 6-8 bolts that u pull the neck out, it comes out

Very Cool.
Today I had some warm weather to get my doors worked on. Just more custom alterations to the car. I welded up the holes for the handles and key.
As you can see I marked the spot, cut it out, matched the shape on new metal, cut it down and welded in the new piece. If we have some more warm days this week I'll add the body filler and smooth the door before I put them back on the car.

Thanks.
I was checking out your progress. That car looked good before you started tearing it apart. It'll be the envy of many a Camaro fan when you're done... that's for sure! Love those big meats in the back.
Hope you're planning a custom security system for your ride or a .45 under the seat.

Man it looks like you are making some really good progress with your car... I hope that I can get that far some day. I have no children yet so it is easier for me to work on my car daily/after work and what not... So maybe sometime I will catch up to you!!!!
Looks great man...

Well, it's finally one color again. It's so much easier now to see the little dings and left over work I need to clean up.
This is a "Filler Primer" used to fill in the scratches and feather edges from the Bondo to metal and such. It's corrosive resistant as well. Gotta be careful though, it only has a 6 month shelf life and once mixed, you have 30 minutes to shoot it all.
