Default Sway bar installation

I am having a hard time finding info on installing the sway bar for my 67 Camaro convertible. This seems like it should be easy, but the way I have it now doesn't seem right, as there is no clearance or room for movement once the car gets put on the ground. I bought somebody's project, so I didn't see how it came off. If this isn't right, could somebody post a pic of how their bar is routed or point me in the right direction? This can't be right...

My guess is I have it on upside down and the bowed part of the bar goes ontop of the crossmember support? I just want to be sure.

Thanks!

The sway bar on my 68 has the bow down but is above the cross member. My guess is you're not mounting yours in the right location. Sorry, couldn't get a pic done tonight

Thanks for the response Mike. I tried it like you suggested, and I think you are right. I am either slow, or the assembly manual I have is very vague regarding this.

Thanks
