The vynal top on my 68 rs ,lines up with the rear window molding, doesn't drop below like every other camaro I've seen, does anybody know why? I'm missing one of the moldings, can't figure it out, please help. Thanks

 

Yeah, that's not how the factory top was. Could be a previous owner had some rust repair done and cut back the vinyl top below the window.

 

x2. The vinyl top moldings were key spots for rust. Likely someone removed the molding, cut back the top, and repaired the sheet metal on the roof.
