Welcome. Post up some pictures whan you get a chance. As far as the vent windows go, I am not sure about how or where but, what I do know is that I have a 73 Beetle and if you buy the kit to delete the vent windows, the replacement windows leak really bad. The original design is for the vent widows to be there, so the seals and everything line up perfectly. I think yours would leak as well. As far as the lights go.... Are you wanting the 'hidden headlight' look or basicaly a 69 front end?

I'd bet money that he's asking about the hide-away headlights. So let me share what others here shared with me : Yes, you can piece it together yourself after finding all the parts, or you can buy a kit which I was told was somewhere around $950.

That kit is not all inclusive. Like dbx said above, you will have to piece it together with the rest of the grille.

i want the rs look but i don't want the all black out look in the front. (the grill and the light covers.) maybe i am not explaining it right but the light covers have like3 bars and you could kindof see the headlight. also i bought the 67 because i bought it from a friend for 12,000 and it runs. it also came with a rebuilt long block 69 vette 350 motor. the car iss not a rust bucket either. the trunk and floor pan is in good shape. has some surface rust but notmuch. the rear fendershave rust though.
