Default Smooth firewall

Does anyone here have a diagram or dimensions for a smooth firewall plate? I want to replace my firewall with a smoothed unit, just dont want to spend hundreds of dollars for a piece of sheetmetal. Thanks in advance!!

Or are you looking to cover the entire firewall, with no holes except for the ones you put in? This guy on ebay is selling panels he makes. He also shows his printed cad drawing....just sayin.

Just cut a piece of sheetmetal to fill in the heater box hole. Fill in any small holes left and smooth it out. I left the seam showing. I think it breaks up the firewall just enough.

We did a smooth firewall on my buddy's '68 Camaro. I made a template from cardboard, and then traced it on 18 ga. sheet metal. Took the piece to a local sheet metal shop and had him cut it out. Cost $20 to have him cut the outside with snips, and the holes with his plasma cutter. Then we ground it smooth, and welded it into the car.
Since he's running vintage air, we ran the heater hoses down low on the frame rails, to hide the hoses better, and not have new holes in the smoothed firewall.

Hello.. Im new to the form, and I was researching smooth firewall and was interested in any info on the transmission tunnel.. I have a 69 coupe and its going to take a major restore before it ever sees the highway again.. I have decided that I am going to use an LS3 motor, but what do I need to do to my car so this will happen smoothly?? YellowBull, you have a sweet looking car, Id like to have talk with you and see if I can get some pointers.. If someone has some info, you can email me at kehrj1@yahoo.com

thanks
Jared
