RS Taillight differences??

Default RS Taillight differences??

Can anyone shed light on why someRS tailights have a chrome strip through the middle of the lens, running horizontally and some have no strip??

they are the 69 lights.

If tail light has a place for chrome strip and its not there , they fall off . Not much holds them on to tail light.

Tail light is definetly RS style (no reverse light), but has no center chrome strip. Looks like there is a rib for the strip to be attached to, but does not appear there was ever anything on it.
