Default Restoration Manual

I'm restoring a '69 Camaro and wanted to know what's the best manual out there to help me with my project.

Also, what is the typical gap tolerences for a '69 Camaro. The gap between the front fender and the front edge of the door is pretty wide and wider than any other gap on my car. Can you tell me if this is typical of am I doing something wrong?

Thank you in advance.

X2 blade. There are many out there, just keep in mind, for every one published ther are just as many errors in them. I have been cought putting info out there that has become major points of contention simply because the author of the book didnt know all the facts. I would say to get a couple book and go from there, you can always log on and ask some questions of the members here. also www.camaromadness.net is a small but good source for info as well.
Keep us posted on your progress.

The answer to those and many other "where does this piece go" questions can be found in an assembly manual. If you are putting a car back together, it shows where everything goes and it's the best 20-odd bucks you can spend. Places like www.classicindustries.com have them. I also have a 1969 Chassis Service Manual which can come in handywhen repairing the car.
