Don't forget to put some sealer around the holes once you test fit it, and are ready to permanently bolt it down. I like non hardening duct seal putty.

The trunk lid that's designed to be used with a spoiler has pre-drilled holes, and larger access holes on the under side. Drill your stud size holes first, then you'll need to drill a larger hole from the back side to fit the nut with a socket through. You'll be bolting up inside a cavity where the reinforcements are, the studs on the spoiler aren't long enough to go through both layers of the lid. It'll make more sense once you start drilling and scoping it out.

If your car was equipped with RPO D-80 (factory installed rear spoiler) then the trunk emblem was moved up higher on the deck lid. If your car was not RPO D-80 and the dealer installed the spoiler, the dealer removed the emblem and it was not reinstalled.
