Rear End Suspension Choices?

Rear End Suspension Choices?
Looking for feedback from you folks.
Given the existing parameters as described below, what products / kits and companies would you suggest to increase handling, power transfer and safety?
Existing situation:
68 Camaro, originally 6 cyl. currently built 350 (400-500hp, haven't dyno'd yet).
original mono leaf
newer posi-rear end installed (so no need to replace this).
existing drum brakes (to be upgraded at a later date)
budget upgrade, not cheap, but not too expensive either.
Suggestions? And as always, I appreciate the input.
Thanks.
-Robert

I recently had a 355 sbc on my 69 camaro as well, but the handling sucked. When I upgraded to my 461bbc I deciced to buy Caltrac traction bars off ebay, and when nstalled they made a lot of difference. My motor is making 550+pounds of torque, so just imagine. I also have mono leaf springs. I plan on installing springs later this year. if you got the money go for the best handling suspension kits bro.
btw... a bigger tire in the rear is better as well. I currently have 275 50r's in rear with absolutely no modifications.

Hotchkis is a proven suspension supplier but not cheap. Bought a package From Mattsclassicbowties (search by) on ebay and you can get everything in stages. First get rid of the monoleaf major changes to drivability to the better.
