Default Rally Wheels??

Hey guys, newbie here to the camaro forum..I just picked up a 67. The car came with 14 inch rallies on it...I did a disc conversion on the front, and I was told the calipers will rub the 14 inch rims.. I just bought a set of 15 X 7's for the front, and I am going to run 15 X 8's in the rear..My question is? What size tire would look best on the car, I want to keep everything under the fenders and quarters..without rubbing...I would like alittle wider tire on the rear..Any suggestions

Thanks
Steve

I used to run a L-60R15 or 275/60R15 tire on an 8" rim on the rear of my 68 Camaro. One thing, make sure your springs/ shocks are good because they can rub the wheel well if you get to much weight in the back seat.

I forget what I had up front, but maybe something like a 235/75R15 would work for you with a 7" rim or even a 255/70R15.

I have a set of 14 x 7 steel wheels with disc on mine. They should fit as long as it is a factory conversion.

I'm running 255 60 15's on the rear and 215 65 15's on the front comfortably on my 68.

That being said, it's always best to take it to a shop and make sure they fit before you purchase them.

Good luck!
