Project Envy has begun 1969 ss396
My uncle bought it new in 1969 and gave it to me because I have loved the car forever. My wife named the project because it was originally ralley green and so many people have tried to buy it from me. My son and I started the disassembly of Envy over the weekend.
The plan is ground up restoration so it is back to completely original. We still have the original window sticker and hoping to find the build sheet as we tear it down.
Got the front clip off this weekend and Envy is in rough shape! Oh well just that much more fun in replacing parts!
I was going to attach photos but can't figure out how, someone help me so I can show you our progress.

Go to www.photobucket.com and start an account. Its where most of my pics are hosted and I can even upload as I take pics with my phone. Then just click on the pic and it will give you the [img] tag you copy and paste.
Congrats on getting your project started. Can't wait to see some pics.

Found the original window sticker in the glove box and the original registration (dated june 11th 1969)in to console. I am hoping the build sheet might still be in place behind one of the front seats. Seats are out and hopefully pulling the motor and transmission this weekend!
