That is correct. The original color was Butternut Yellow with a black top.

With prices today that car is most likely worth the 12K.True RS/SS Cowl tags and matching vin tags are going for 5K. What are your plans for the car? You going to do the work yourself? Figure if you do the work its going to be atlease 10K and 3 times that if you pay someone to do it for you. Its hard to say for sure but that body is worse then it appears. It is always tuff to tell on a white car but there is a lack of definition in the rear quarter. I think there may be a lot of puddy in that car. I always wonder about a car that was changed to white. Its an old bodymans trick. Paint the car a dull white and you can not see the waves. I'll bet once you strip that car its going to be a ton of body work.

I do not think the rear or tranny are correct. I have never heard of a 3sp Manual in a SS.I keep an eye out for 67 RS/SS and I have never seen one so if it is original its pretty rare.

I thought that my father and I could do the work ourselves. I know that it will take some time and money but I feel that it will be a good experience. I know what you mean about the body. I have seen many cars painted a dull white to hide the waves. I guess the best way to tell is to get a magnet. I noticed on the drivers sidewhere the door meets thequarter, the quarter seems to be built up.The gentleman said that he might have the POP for the car but he wasn't sure. I have never decoded a POP before so that will be an experience. On there it should tell me about the rearend and the tranny, right? What are the true 67RS/SS 350convertibles bringing? I do understand that condition is a key factor. I'm just looking for a ballpark figure. I looked on ebay but there has not been many of these cars listed. Thanks again!

For the small block fully restore you are talking in the 40's, You can add 10-15K for a big block. I was on one of the Classic car sites. There was not one under 30K. Couple where not even matching numbers. I would estimate mine at 25K since its a unrestore non-numbers matching car. The engine is a 350 from a 69 Camaro. The drive line is original. M-22 with a 12 bolt.
