Power Steering Pump/Hose Question
have a 1967 Camaro with manual steering. I'm switching over to power steering. My engine is a 1988 model 350.
Here's my problem...
I bought a used pump and brackets, as well as a new hose.
I was told that the pump and brackets came from a '69 Camaro small block. Oneguysassured me that this '69 pump and brackets would work fine since I had a long water pump.
The pump has a female end and the new hose also has a female end.
Is there a fitting or something like that I can use to fix this problem?
Where can I get such a thing?
Thanks!

We have a place in town called Rubber & Specialties that has every hose and/or fitting you can imagine. Generally when I run into something like that I would just stop by and ask them. I would imagine that a double ended Male fitting would be pretty simple to find. I do electrical work and we call that a nipple. I will grab one of my old power steering hoses lying out in the 69 boneyard behind my shed and try to stop by Rubber & Specialties tomorrow if I have time and see what they say about it. If not I will have to go by there monday cause fridays are busy at work for me.
These are pics of the gear box, pump, and hose.

Welcom to the forum. I just now got finished installing the (original) p/s pump on my 69' Camaro, and it has the male flared type connection on the pump housing. The pics you listed are not from a 69 sbc Camaro. A custom hose or the correct pump will fix the prob.
