There is not much to it. Its just a bolt in. Steering box, pump, Pump mounting hardware and Hoses. If you are looking for all correct parts just find someone coveting to a rack and pinion. May want to add a inline filter designed for power steering system but that is your call. All the steering components like the pitman arm and drag link are the same. Unlike newer cars there are no sensors or external controls. You may want to set a smaller steering wheel. I kept my original one cause I like the old car feel.

You may need to adjust the the back lash in the steering box if it used. I am sure there are youtube videos on that.

The old fart that built my car for me put in power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes. What do you need?

Been awhile since I started this post, Got all of the parts needed from SPEEDWAY MOTORS.

So far I have the brackets & the complete pump installed. Had to get a 2 groove crank pulley.

Laid out the gear box on the bench just to familiarize myself of the connections, etc. The problem is the pressure hose looks like it's the wrong one.
It has both fittings pointing in the same direction. Looks to me like one end should be 90 deg from the other. One fitting faces down on the steering box,
& the other end points up into the pump.

Anyone care to submit a good clear pic of the setup on your 67 or 68?

Nice pic. Do you have one of the rear view of the pump?

Here's a shot of my conversion for my '68, that shows end points for both the box and the pump. Looks to me like both hose ends are "L's" that allow the hoses to dive down below the headers.

Note steering box came from "Red Head", who takes an original housing and basically replaces the insides to 'as-new' status.

No, the return line is just a hose clamp attachment. Pressure is a fitting. The lines I got on Rockauto for a stock 67 Camaro PS pump
