Default Is it possible to convert a 67 Sport Coupe to an SS/RS?

I am interested in converting a 1967 Sport Coupe (base) to a 1967 RS or SS/RS Coupe. Is this even physically possible? Are the grilles/hide-away lights interchangeable as far as the frame is concerned. I realize that I would need to change the engine and transmission our (and a slew of other things), but if it is feasible, I want to go for it. I'm new to this hobby, but I have my heart set on this car--am I making a good decision, or should I move on to other prospects? Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated!!!

Of course itis possible. The factory used the same body structure for all coupes. You need to figure out exactly what you want to end up with. And then find out what parts are different and which ones are the same. As long as you have the money, every part on a Camaro is available. It would be easier and cheaper to make it into an SS, than an RS. Mainly because the front grill and lights and the rear lights are also different on an RS model. Most people can't tell whether an SS car is real or cloned by just looking at it anyway. If you use the correct parts they will think that you do have what it looks like, unless they get into verifying the "numbers".
