Default Ok Camaro gurus need a little help,, 69 pace car

Restoring this pace car... Problem... Power steering line is hitting the bracket on the under side of the pump near the manifold and I have no adjustment,, what's my fix? Do I have the wrong bracket? Wrong line? Everything I can find says yes but the only option I see is notching the bracket or some other line that is not so far back before the bend,, any help appreciated... Can get more pics if needed

The original line would not use that brass fitting and would just screw into the pump
Also, the original line has a tighter bend in it, more like a pigtail
Maybe someone will post a pic of their stock setup
My base 68 has no PS so I cannot show you, I just work on a few and have built a few
The pump itself would have the female fitting, and the line would have a male end
Or the pump would have a male fitting, and the line would have a female end like yours has
Means no adapter fitting

Hello and Welcome to CF, I don't have a 69 Camaro but have you loosened all the bolts that connect pump/ bracket to manifold to get some movement and then wedge one or two wooden paint sticks (approx.125 thick) in between the line and bracket to give you clearance you need and then re-tighten the bolts/ and PS line? Nice 69 BTW
